Life is full of trial and error, and so is programming. In the tradition of Socrates I'll be the first to admit how much I don't know. As time goes on, I do pick up a few nuggets here and there and I intend to share what I can through this weblog. The topics are as diverse as my interests, but don't be surprised to find some mention of enterprise software development, photography, running and politics.

Bad News - Viagra no longer covered by Medicaid

I'm a little late picking up on this one, but it seems that, although the wheels of government grind slowly, sometimes they do seem to move in the right direction. The U.S. House of Representatives recently voted to ban Viagra and other drugs that treat impotence. Apparently, this coverage even applies to sex offenders. The bill has yet to pass the Senate, so if you want to help those wheels along, write to your senators.

The Trials of Maintaining an Online Presence

So, I'm finally jumping on the blogging bandwagon. From my earliest attempt at maintaining a primite HTML website to my current Plone based pwjazz.net, I've tried a variety of options for building a vibrant presence on the web. At the end, it always comes down to taking the time to keep the content fresh. So, here goes nothing!
